Bringing Trust and Transparency to Ag Data Contracts
In this session, Todd Janzen will discuss why farmers are concern about who has access to their agricultural data. He will share how the law views agricultural data and what is an “Ag Data Transparent” company followed by where we are going next.
Supported by a competitive grant through USDA NIFA's Food and Agriculture Cyberinformatics and Tools (FACT) initiative, this conference will identify principal obstacles to applying big data to high-resolution decision-making in production agriculture.
